DMM has initiated an 'outstanding paper prize', with the inaugural award to be announced at the end of 2018. The prize was set up to inspire young researchers embarking on their scientific careers.
Each year, the journal will award a prize ($1000) to the first author (or authors, where there is joint first authorship) of the paper that is judged by the journal's editors to be the most outstanding contribution to the journal that year.
The only eligibility requirement for consideration for the prize is that the first author(s) must have been a student or postdoc when the work was done. If you would like your paper to be considered for the DMM outstanding paper prize, please tick the appropriate box during the submission process (for revised articles).
The shortlist of selected papers and overall winner will be announced in the journal, along with a short profile of the winning author(s). Find out about our inaugural winner, Wenqing Zhou.
