Disease Models & Mechanisms invites you to submit original research for a Special Collection focused on neuromuscular disease models. We welcome studies on the dysregulation of pathways, disease progression and approaches to treat and modify the disease course in animal models. New approaches and technologies for studying muscle pathophysiology and regeneration, and advances in the development of suitable in vitro and in vivo models are also encouraged.
This ongoing collection will be launched with a special issue scheduled for publication in early 2020*.
The issue will be guest edited by Annemieke Aartsma-Rus (Leiden University Medical Center, The Netherlands), James Dowling (The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada) and Maaike van Putten (Leiden University Medical Center, The Netherlands).
We invite you to showcase your breakthrough research in this special collection. Submissions should describe original research in the form of a Research article or Resource article.
